Yes, I made an entire page about kneeing a Satyr in the Privates. It’s actually funny where some of these ideas come from – I was just thinking of what I could do before returning to the road and the Satyr that’d been punched out earlier came to mind and I thought how I could return to him before moving on. In the end just stabbing him seemed a tad humorless so I went with another.. approach.

It amused me.

I’m still not sure what to do with the update schedule – I was given a lengthy pep talk (two actually) regarding Beyond the Tree and what to make of it and I’ve found myself potentially in the need to re-evaulate why I make it – what exactly I get out of all this. Quite specifically, I was told to not make telling the actual story among those things. Part of the problem too is that events I’m building up towards now and really look forward to are.. well.. still quite far ahead.

I’m not planning on stopping it mind you – even doing so temporarily holds the risk of it not picking up again. It’s easier to keep rolling when you have momentum, so to speak. We’ll simply have to see where things go. If worst comes to worst, I might be down to a single update a week. Preferably not, but we’ll see. There’s some arbitrary elements involved like my only being able to be passionate about so many characters at one time, and much of the plot already laid out to the point where it’s hard to expand on it beyond immediate scripting.

But. We’ll see.
