This page is almost entirely an ad lib – I had no real script for it beyond “We see land. There is much rejoicing.”, so everything else was pretty much just grown out of that. More yet, the first version of it didn’t have the two panes at the bottom – those were added on suggestion following pre-vis input being that it seemed incomplete and like it missed something.
I wanted a page that really signify the arrival – a wide shot of the destination. Unfortunately, even at highest draw distance, it meant I ended up with a foggy outline on the horizon, rather than detailed towers and whatnot. Still, that aptly hides details that we’re better off without, and I imagine it might have more impact like this.
