Well, I suppose the ears have to be good for something. Additionally, while we still can’t prove anything about forests, it does seem to stand clear that if a tree falls in a cave, it does indeed make a sound.
yeah well the shredder…either they do some clever sneaking and remove him from the thing, or Te’Len gets to use some magic…
Of course there is the possibility that everyone remembers that Areen actually IS a gnome and everyone knows all gnomes carries bombs with them at all time…
It’s a shadow; one of the lights in the scene used a shadow map rather than Ray-Traced shadows as I recall to get away from the overall shadow sharpness. So that spot is essentially a shadow cast by her hair.
I’d say that Shredder may prove to be a problem. They had trouble dealing with machines when they first entered Westfall and they were half the size of Sneed’s Shredder. Maybe Te’s new show of force with druid spells may decide the fight. Then again, I’d say it’s more likely to be another sit out for Te. It should be interesting either way
I must say that even while the upcomming “possible” battle is worth looking forward too (goblings are greedy but smart after all), what i noticed most was the simply wonderfull expressions. It really struck me as how one would look asked, which in itself not is such great a deal, but you caught precisely how i imagined a nightelf with a raised brow would look at it. Also, a good note is that our dear elven “maidens” has better hearing then our fair paladin, thus, ofcause they can hear it… however you managed to capture an expression of listening, which can be kinda tricky. yet, love the page for the simple reason of simplicity that it is :) good work.
Well, what can I say other than thank you very very much for posting that – it made me laugh so much I nearly hurt myself! Mind you, that bit with the female char talking with a mans voice -at 038- will probably give me nightmares……
Nhani, you keep getting better and better at this, you know? Great expressions, posing, lighting…everything! Wonderful posting!
One little criticism though, and I’ve been guilty of it myself: “Alright” should actually be “All right”. I know, I know, it LOOKS correct, but it’s not. Silly language we have, isn’t it? :-)
You are quite right. However, alright is actually in the dictionary! as the wrong spelling of all right. I mean, how mad is that? Putting the wrong spelling in, and then TELLING you it’s the wrong spelling! If it’s wrong, then why put it in? Sometimes I despair of Humanity, I really do…..
Ah let me do an aside here, because this actually makes more sense than you would think. The thing is that language isn’t a static entity – it changes with use. Deciding if a word should go into a dictionary and what spelling it should be is less about following past norms and more about current day use.
In this case, someone clearly decided that the phrase “all right” is commonly enough used in its single word form “alright” to warrant a mention, which seems to suggest that the single word version might possibly end up being the officially correct spelling some years down the line – if it’s more commonly used than the two word version.
Seeing how my own innate habit tends to prefer the one word version and reject the two word version as the incorrect one, I’d say the inclusion of both is warranted.
Elveswarrior thats the one.
and on the spelling thing let me remind you that when one Nhani is writing the word as the actor is pronouncing them not as they are spellt.
Beyond the Tree is based on (when not directly using) the art resources and story setting of World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment.
That and all related and/or registered trademarks are the property of Blizzard Entertainment and Beyond the Tree claims no ownership of these or any affiliation with Blizzard Entertainment but hopes they'll have a sense of humour and appreciate it all the same ;)
Ah, the mast room. I wonder how our group copes with Sneed’s Shredder. :)
the shredder will be interesting indeed :D
Cool, I’ve been looking forward to this fight…

Actually, Goblins make everything from explodium. Gnomes make trinkets and other doomsday devices.
If a tree falls in a cave it makes a sound? Only if there’s someone there to hear it, lol.
Tiny voices our concerns doesn’t she.
After all, the last thing you would expect is trees in a mine.
Wow, excellent facial expressions, Nhani. The cocked eyebrow on Te was rather amusing in itself. Those ‘brows have to be good for something. :P
I just noticed…what is that blemish on Te’s neck? Is that just the model, or is that there intentionally?
Ya I just noticed that. I’m surprised i never seen it before.

“A tree falls in a cave…”
Nhani…I really….no idea….
*applause*

Lets all hope Te goed feral and shreds the shredder to pieces

well haven’t you hear MMORGP many men playing girl or how did it go now again?
Thanks haha, i thought it was appropriate concering the comic.
I know that, but female chars and npcs talk with a female voice in-game. It just reminds me a bit too much of the movie ‘ The crying game ‘, lol.
