Good improvisation. Ahem.
I really wasn’t sure what to do with Mr. Smite at first – as eventful and vocal as his encounter is (for a vanilla one, anyhow), it really doesn’t translate all that well into a more narrative form. Suddenly you have to either start trying to fudge reasonings as to why anyone’d actually let him run all the way for a weapon switch without making it seem contrived, or making into a straight up battle which seems like a good way of eliminating all the flavour that makes the encounter special. So in the end, I decided it was better to let him keep his flavour and simply pit him against Mr. Door instead.
Of course.. then Mr. Explosion took both of them by surprise..
