Twist.
This page was a rather difficult one to put together due to the dialogue in the middle – my script notes essentially said something like “random non-plot filler dialogue” which can sometimes be really tought to put together because it should be interesting in some way, but it needs to come from somewhere other than plot. In this case I ultimately settled on Tiny and Te’len because it seemed appropriate; especially considering that it’s actually quite rare that they referrence the fact that they grew up together.

Whoa… Tiny opened up about her childhood? Considering she’s protested that it was even mentioned that she and Te grew up in Ashenvale, I want to know how much she imbibed while Hani was sleeping! ::chuckle:: Otherwise, this is an interesting left turn, and I look forward to seeing where it leads.
It really depends on context with her, I think; Tiny is the sort who loves to talk a whole lot of words without really saying that much. Also, Areen is part of “them”, now, so that’s different than some unrelated stranger.
As a former Sentinel, Hani probably got used to getting up and quickly getting ready at a moments notice. So it could be that she leaves her headband and gloves on because small things like that are easily misplaced or forgotten.
About time Hani got off her ass n started figuring her dreams out.

I’m torn between a Hani / Te’len tearful goodbye on the docks a la Casablanca joke, or an end of Back to the Future joke for this page. Hmmm…
I suppose one could split the difference, have the Casablanca thing on the docks, then Norzdumu shows up in a trench coat, and is all like, “Are you Te’len Nila? We had a bet going in the Caverns about if you’d be here or not!” Then he hands her a note, and she goes all, “Hani’s alive! I mean, she’s stuck in the War of the Ancients raid, but she’s alive!”

Seeing how they’re there because I didn’t bother going around updating a separate texture without them when she first went to sleep (and then kept them on to avoid a glove continuity snarl), I think we can blame the latter more than the former.

Yes but she got specifically sent to Stormwind. Tyrande might be annoyed by her coming back from the place she sent her as punishment. Plus, where else is she gonna go… aah…. Astranaar.

No, honestly, I do! While I have no doubt a lengthy venture into Duskwood would’ve been brought in an entertaining and interesting manner (I haven’t been disappointed a single time so far), I’m happy to see we’re about to return to good ol’ Kalimdor with the series. As much as I enjoyed it, the adventures so far in the Eastern Kingdoms felt a bit like sidetracking, even if interesting and enjoyable. A genuine smile spread across my lips when I read the last panel.
Oh, btw, last panel, the way Hani’s ponytail is laying, across the pack and the end dangling… Exactly as it would be the way she turned her head to answer Te… nicely done on the artistry front!
