It’s totally thursday today. In fact, it’s a very well-known fact that sometimes a week will contain two thursdays that happen in a row because that’s how the calendar works. Any claims of today being friday are simply filthy human lies! I will not hear it! Nuh-uh, noooo hearing.

Well, they should be going Northwards seeing as to where Teldrassil lies.
Sure they have to.
But it could be near Kalimdor’s east coast, it could be short before Teldrassil and it could be still nearer to Eastern Kingdoms if they’re going to have the Maelstrom on the left.
Just curious how long the journey still lasts.
In-game, the Bravery actually swings south around the Maelstrom, keeping it on their right (although that route makes so little nautical sense, I can’t help but think it’s a mistake on Blizzard’s part). After that, it heads roughly northward off Kalimdor’s eastern coast, before swinging around the northern tip of the continent and approaching Rut’theran from the northeast.
If Nhani did think about the position of the sun when setting up the lighting, this would probably indicate that the ship was still east of Kalimdor and heading north. An alternative could be an afternoon sun during the southwest approach to Teldrassil, but the vessel would probably have have to be on a fairly high-angle port tack to get sunlight at that angle and not have Teldrassil in the background.
Of course, the lighting of the scene could be completely arbitrary, and we’re all just reading way too far into it, but where’s the fun in that?
If Nhani says its thursday I will not go against her will of today beeing thursday, completely fine with that.

I’m with you. There’s way, way too little lesbianism in BTT.
Although this is obviously a pretty serious scene, it’s given me a good laugh. The bonus Areen goes without mentioning, so I’ll go straight for praising the title. It entirely collides with the solemnity of the page but I think that is very entertaining. So it’s a compliment. Further, a very effective cliffhanger. If Friday was Thursday then I hope dearly that somehow Sunday will be Friday, which is Thursday which makes no sense at all. But I’m all giddy! :-)
