You know, Water effects is one of those things that’s still difficult for actual professional 3D artists, and I’m just a novice hobbyist. Yeah.. it could be better. Ahem.
The journey through Auberdine is something that I’ve planned and re-planned quite a few times – there’s a careful balance to strike between risking confrontations and letting the protagonists actually put a few thoughts into avoiding attention. It gets more complicated when there’s only a limited set of backdrops available that everything has to somehow be worked around, for better or worse. The last iteration actually only solidified this friday, so we’ll have to see if I can actually stick to that or I’ll have to alter it again to work around the backdrop problem.
