#267 – “Vhere Vood, there Volf”

Writing dialogue for Hani Foonmall can be quite the challenge because of how she’s often rather economic with words; for every one line she says, there’s usually another two left unspoken. It presents a problem with pages like this where she technically leads the dialogue – sometimes the situation is enough that she’ll speak on her own, but more often than not the other characters – usually Tiny – sort of have to coax her dialogue along.

I sincerely like how y’return to something that was only briefly spotted in Ashenvale! Instantly brought back the memory of that comic page. I rike a rot!

It’s great people make that connection, because to be honest… the only reason we saw those worgen in Ashenvale (twice, at that! And then had the duo talk to Raene about them) was to establish their presence so I’d be able to refer to them when I got here.

I wonder if she’s still thinking about Van Cleef…

Eliza, a youtube search returned no ‘dramatic worgen’ videos. :( So no.
Unless there are some such type elsewhere on the internet, and I was just barking
    up the wrong tree.

God, the page was like the opening five minutes of A Touch of Evil. Will the animal leg survive it’s encounter with Hani? It’s right there, in her hand! Any moment, there will be nothing but a flurry of teeth and delicious, delicious flesh! :X

I love Rei being all nonchalant with her cheese wedge. If ever there are Rei figurines made, I shall like one with a cheese wedge. :D

This is still before Cataclysm isn’t it? So no Gilneas Worgens yet?

Yup, this is all still back in vanilla times (Hence VanCleef, Athrikus Narassin, no Draenei, etc), so the Gilneans are all hidden away in Gilneas. Arc Two, if I actually get to it, may geto to have hints towards having moved on to early Burning Crusade (not decided yet), but Arc One is essentially happening entirely during the vanilla time period. It’s very early on – hence why our trio of Night elves are both an unusual sight and rather culturally maladjusted.
