#276 – “To Facilitate Unit Cohesion”

Oddly enough, while Areen is the only non-native to Kalimdor of the group, I also felt that her reasoning for joining the group there was also the least overall interesting – still important to touch upon, but it never struck me as this major deciding factor. So long as she feels they’re going for a good cause (and since they’re kind of not allowed, she interprets that as the cause being that significant), I felt she’d want to go along just to return the favor and help do the right thing.

The much shorter exchange between Hani and Tiny I actually found more interesting due to the whole fact that Hani, for once, is fully aware of the potential repercussions of her actions; not to mention that up until this point, Hani has shown as mainly subservient to the Sentinels.

Notice how Hani is more talkative when she has a purpose? I like this Hani. I like her muchly.

I like Areen, she’s quite likable unlike most other gnomes, whom I find annoying. I love her character, perfect for a paladin.

I like Areen too. She is an excellent example of a paladin (and a gnome).

I’d love to see if she tinkers a little on the side. :)

I disagree with your assessment Areen’s reasoning for going with the others is the least interesting. You are touching on something that makes a gnome a gnome. She is going because her friends need her.

While that might not be a dramatic reason, it is an interesting one.

I dig the Mass Effect 2 nod in the comic title.

“We got a booking on the SS Baby Murloc”
“ooooh, Uh, yeah, actually, I should probably stay in Stormwind. Gotta lotta… paladin paperwork that needs…. stamping.”

Not too sure Areen is aware of the consequences of what may happen, and none save Hani herself knows why they’re going back, but it should make for an interesting future for the entire group.

Also, I am sensing another chapter closure imminent.

Panel 6. There’s an ‘i’ missing in “Like”.

And I did read the comic title in Legion’s voice…
