#182 – “Rooting for Druids”

So back up again and further into the Cave of Creepy. While I’m sure I could’ve spent several more pages just milking the drama for all it was worth, Hani was essentially right – they have to keep moving; both in location and otherwise. Of course, that doesn’t mean everything is suddenly all okay, and there’s definitely more that has to be gone over later. First things first however, to catch up with the door.

i feel like i can hear/see the word “noobs” comming out of hani’s mouth, thinking about it being a simple druid spell that any druid can do.

then again, this is not exactly like in-game :P

Haha, I can’t help but agree. Especially that last panel, it’s got something like “Noobs…” or “Kids…” written all over it. Perhaps even “That’s just like Rei…” and some of the head-shaking to go with it.

A good, fun page though. And considering the serious material before this, I’m sure Nhani felt that it had to be there to balance the mood of the moment, to lighten things up some. Hehe…and when the mood needs lightening you can always count on Tiny to open her mouth!

As for the demonstration, perhaps we’ll see some demos later on? We’ll have to wait and see, eh?

It’s the icon I use on my own blog…I guess it carries over wherever I write. Helps make it look officially from me. Even works on some other places too, weirdly.

Great page, I always find it amusing the way Areen talks, like a paladin..but she’s a gnome :P

I’m glad they appreciate Te’len’s skills and hope to get her more involved in future skirmishes, knowing the foes they will face in the mines, they’re going to need all the help they can get.

Good thing they didn’t have a mage along who would have blown Te’s CC.

    I don’t think Te’len has shown her true power..yet

for that to happen, something exstremely shocking and more life-threatning then some defias thugs will need to happen, like facing a demon against witch only magic works effectivly, since i don’t think Hani’s sword is enchanted in any way…(maybe Areens, but who knows?)

For the rest, a good page to get the mood up again, =)

No, not only no, but Hell NO, for all that is holy! I think that there is still more in Te than we know, but druids can cast spell even without “that ugly form” (and without batteries, ofc:P ).

Until she has cause to remove it, really. So far, there hasn’t been enough reason to bother. It’ll go away eventually.

The art on here is looking really good these days! I’ve been reading for a while. You’re compositing has really improved and the lighting on the characters looks great!

.. The gifts of nature should not be taken lightly. I love people that actually understand that part of druids. <3 And yes, the characters look lovely here. Really improving with every page!
